The agency was hired to create and manage a brand launch for Tobiano, a resort style golf course in Kamloops BC.
The first objective was to capture the attention of the media - in turn creating a buzz to local and regional markets by showcasing the stunning views and landscape of the beautifully designed Thomas McBroom course. On top of attracting golfers, our secondary mission was to intrigue families who would want to stay, buy a home and invest in the Tobiano lifestyle and community.
It was critical to differentiate Tobiano as a premier golf facility, accompanied by an urban community in the making. We positioned the course as “a place like no other” – backing up our brand message with unique aerial photography showcasing the undulating terrain, hoodos, and lake views that stretch as far as the eye can see. A strategic photo driven advertising campaign was put together to attract the attention of golfers, home buyers, and media across Canada.
A centennial celebration for The Vancouver Golf & Country Club was fast approaching and Brandroom Creative was hired to publish a commemorative book for the Club’s prestigious history.
After an initial meeting with the Club’s Historian and General Manager, Brandroom had a greater understanding of the Club’s traditions, legacy and member expectations. Once a collection of artifacts, photos, interviews and articles were collected – the agency was ready to capture the story and transfer the memories onto paper.
The book was designed to have a clean, classic look and feel that would stand the test of time. A mix of elegant typography was carefully chosen that would reflect the Club’s tradition and historic background.
